This is an invitation-only, highly interactive, exclusive peer-to-peer event on Monday and Tuesday, December 3-4, 2018 in New Orleans sponsored by American Marketing Association and hosted by Cara Bergendahl, Vice President, Strategic Marketing, and Jennifer Bollinger-Monsted, Vice President, Corporate Communications & Public Relations, Ochsner Health System, among the nation’s largest independent academic health systems with 30 hospitals.

In addition to our 10 Participant Panels and talk by Ochsner CEO Warner Thomas, we’ll hear from Ochsner’s Innovation Team as part of our main campus tour Tuesday afternoon, experience Ochsner “O Bar”--central to a unique digital health strategy in the Center for Primary Care and Wellness Center and learn how Ochsner uses technology, artificial intelligence and new thinking in its “Optimal Hospital” experience. On the way to Tuesday’s location, we’ll get a quick view of Ochsner Healthcare Corridor with campuses for inpatient, ambulatory and post-acute, and a new nursing school.

No trip to New Orleans is complete without fantastic food. Monday night dinner is at Palace Café, winner of national awards and part of an enduring culinary legacy with contemporary Creole food in a lively atmosphere at the foot of the French Quarter. Health Care Executive Summit Cancelation Policy

Cancellations and requests for refunds must be submitted to the AMA via email at Cancellations received four weeks prior to the event start date will receive a refund minus a $150 early cancellation fee. Cancellations received after that date will receive a refund minus a $300 late cancellation fee. 

Registrants wishing to cancel may send someone to take their place without penalty if they send a written request with the replacement person’s name to at least two weeks prior to the event start date. 

A registration may not be shared by two or more individuals. Space is limited and on-site registration cannot be guaranteed. Hotel and transportation reservation cancellations must be handled by the individual registrant directly with the hotel, airline and/or other company.

​* Of course, no trip to New Orleans would be complete without fantastic food.  Monday night’s dinner is planned at the Palace Café.  This classic New Orleans restaurant, located at the foot of the French Quarter, serves contemporary Creole food in an upbeat and lively atmosphere.  Part of a select collection of 13 restaurants locally owned by the Brennan family, the Palace Café is part of an enduring culinary legacy. Under the direction of Dickie Brennan, the Palace Café’s culinary team are constantly evolving traditional dishes and creating a few new favorites. 
Note: The cost of the group dinner is included in the Health Care Executive Summit registration fee.  A cash bar will be available for beverages, excluding tea, coffee and water.

The AMA has negotiated special group rates for the Healthcare Executive Summit. You must make your hotel reservations by November 16, 2018 and properly identify yourself to qualify for the special group rate (based on availability). After November 16, 2018, the rooms will be released for sale to the general public, and all reservations will be accepted on a space available basis at the hotel's available rate - not at the group rate. A credit card deposit in the amount of (1) one night’s room and tax for each confirmed room will be charged at time of booking. Cancellations made after 3:00 p.m. CST, (72) seventy-two hours prior to arrival and no-shows will be subject to a cancellation penalty. If you fail to arrive on your confirmed arrival date, your entire reservation will be cancelled and your credit card will be charged for (1) one night’s room and tax.

and check out is at 12:00 p.m. Anyone arriving earlier than 3:00 p.m. will be checked in as soon as a room(s) becomes available. Guests checking out early will be assessed a (1) one night room and tax early departure fee. Upon check in, guests will be asked to verify their departure date. Conference attire is business casual. Meeting rooms tend to be cool, so you may wish to bring a sweater/jacket.
